A Tuscan Dream: Yoga Retreat
Oct 21st 2025 - Oct 28th 2025
THE DREAM
Imagine a yoga retreat nestled in the heart of Tuscany, where rolling vineyards and centuries-old olive groves stretch as far as the eye can see. This sanctuary for spiritual growth offers more than just physical rejuvenation; it's a transformative journey in a dreamy, culturally rich setting.
As you arrive, the panoramic landscape and abundance of nature fills the space, calming your senses instantly. The retreat center itself is a restored Tuscan villa, with its terracotta tiles and rustic charm, providing a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Each morning begins with a gentle yet invigorating yoga session overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan landscape, where the rising sun paints the sky in hues of gold and pink.
Throughout the day, you immerse yourself in various mindfulness practices and meditation sessions led by Karfee. These sessions are designed not only to deepen your yoga practice but also to foster inner reflection and personal growth. You find yourself connecting with a sense of peace and clarity that transcends the everyday hustle.
Between sessions, you have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Perhaps you visit nearby medieval towns like Montepulciano or Cortona, marveling at their historic architecture and art. Or maybe you choose to wander through local markets, tasting fresh Tuscan produce and experiencing the warmth of Italian hospitality. You can choose to hike from the villa through groves of olive trees, forest and field; enjoy quiet time by the pool; visit the on-site spa for massage, sauna, and whirlpool.
Evenings are reserved for relaxation and contemplation. Picture yourself enjoying a nutritious, authentic Italian dinner under a canopy of stars, accompanied by the gentle hum of cicadas and, perhaps, a glass of local Tuscan wine. Conversations flow effortlessly with fellow retreat participants, sharing stories and insights gained from the day's experiences.
As the retreat draws to a close, you carry with you a renewed sense of self-awareness and inner peace. The combination of yoga, mindfulness, and the serene beauty of Tuscany has provided you with tools to continue your spiritual journey long after you leave. This yoga retreat is more than just a vacation; it is a gift you give yourself: a profound and unforgettable experience that nourishes your body, mind, and soul, leaving you inspired and transformed.
THE PRACTICE
A new moon takes place on October 21st 2025, a perfect time for setting fresh intentions and embracing new beginnings. This retreat offers a serene environment where you can connect deeply with yourself through guided yoga sessions, meditation, and reflective practices, led by Karfee. Experience the power of the new moon to clear past energies and align your goals with your inner purpose.
The practice combines various discipline of yoga: Karfee's signature vinyasa flow, hatha essense, kundalini kriyas, restorative/yin, sound healing, meditation and journalling.
The day starts with a morning meditation for those who choose to sit in complete silence. Physical movement practice follows, and each day we explore special curated themes and disciplines in the evening.
Each session plays off of each other to create a sequential and transformational week. It leads you to embrace renewal and growth in a supportive, tranquil setting.

THE VENUE
The retreat venue is a small medieval hamlet immersed in a stunning rural setting. It overlooks the border between Umbria and Tuscany, near the beautiful city of Cortona, renowned for its Etruscan origins.
Since 2006, this venue has hosted guests who seek self-connection, personal growth and the cultivation of meaningful personal relationships based on exchanges of thought, experience and activity. The peaceful environment and the pristine natural scenery contribute to the realization of the Tuscan Dream.
Situated in the Pierle Valley, with its limitless panoramas across rolling hills, cultivated fields, olive groves and forests, this retreat center is a natural refuge, a perfect setting for a spiritual transformation.
It is an historic location. A medieval “borgo” (hamlet) painstakingly renovated to preserve the authentic quality of the buildings and grounds. The intention is to faithfully conserve the original atmosphere, while providing a thoroughly contemporary experience of comfort and sustainable efficiency.
The villa consists of 10 bedrooms. These spacious bedrooms and luminous living areas are made of natural handcrafted materials decorated with colors that radiate and maintain the patina and charm of centuries past. The experience unfolds as a journey in which all the senses are immersed in an experience of lightness and great beauty.
The retreat center offers many amenities for our exclusive use:
Spa, private pool & garden, indoor yoga studio, outdoor spaces, dining room, relaxation room.
Indulge yourself in a unique, intimate spa experience at the on-site wellness center where you can revitalize your body and nurture your soul.
Enjoy the tranquility and silence of a steam bath and water ritual, with a sauna and a whirlpool to regenerate body and soul.
Add-on spa treatments like massage, facial, and pedicure can be arranged for extra charges.
The garden has ancient mulberry and olive trees from which the host harvests olives to produce their own cold-pressed virgin olive oil. The garden unfolds in 3 cultivated terraces with stone wall perimeters and enjoys a breathtaking view of the valley.
The pool is available for swimming after a yoga practice, or you can enjoy reading a book by the pool side or a relaxing sunbath.
The Bachificio, a spectacular space of 200 square meters with hardwood floor, high ceilings, large french doors on all sides and a stunning view. This space is positioned perfectly for natural light and sunbeams pouring in the windows from sunrise to sunset.
Yoga mats, foam blocks, straps and soft blankets for meditation are available for participants to use.
This sacred space is designed for relaxing yoga practice, meditation, and sound bath.
A beautiful, spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the mulberry garden is a perfect setting for our daily morning yoga practice. Flowing the Sun Salutation under the Italian sunrise hits different.
Picture the rolling hills adorned with vineyards and olive groves, their vibrant greens and golds stretching out beneath a vast, azure sky. Imagine the gentle curve of cypress trees lining distant roads, their silhouettes sharp against the horizon.
Carry this cherished memory with you beyond the retreat, allowing its calm and beauty to surface in your everyday life.
Built in the late 1800s, originally this large historic dining room with vaulted ceiling was used as stables for animals. This is the place of conviviality and tradition where the flavors of Italian cuisine are discovered.
Every dish has a rich story to tell. A majestic stone fireplace in the center of the room reminds us where cooking has been done for centuries, and even today around this fire we gather to share our stories as soon as the first cold weather arrives.
This unique interior relaxation space, decorated with great artistic sensitivity provides home for you and your fellow retreat participants during your stay.
It is the ideal space for taking a nap, for enjoying the afternoon with a great book, for having deep conversations with new-found friends or for enjoying a journalling session.

A plush bed draped in soft, neutral linens offers a restful haven, while wooden nightstands with vintage lamps provide a warm, ambient glow. The room's large windows allow for an abundance of natural light, framing picturesque views of the rolling hills and vineyards outside. Minimalist décor and a muted color palette create a serene and uncluttered atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of flowing yoga postures and exploring the Tuscan countryside.

THE TUSCAN EXPERIENCE
Unquestionably the best known region of Italy among foreign travelers, Tuscany conjures up romantic images of idyllic hill towns bristling with medieval towers, flowing green landscapes of low hills, and fields of sunflowers. It's a tough reputation to live up to, but Tuscany does it with ease.
This landscape is studded with some of Italy's best-loved cities and attractions: Florence, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Siena, and lovely Cortona. Add the lake of Trasimeno and a clutch of hill towns, each with its own distinct character and history, and consider that this was the cradle of one of the greatest artistic and philosophical revolutions in Europe's history - the Renaissance.
This yoga retreat includes two excursions as part of the schedule. In addition, participants are encouraged to explore the beauty of Tuscany during their free time, or before/after the retreat.
